Position: Full-time permanent
Salary: $45000 – $52000
Hours: 8:00 to 16:00

Position overview:
This person will be responsible for providing financial (75%), administrative and customer service (25%) support.

Accounting:
All bookkeeping tasks from journal entries to adjusting entries to creation of financial statements;
Bank and credit card reconciliations;
Preparation of monthly reports and month-end closings;
Invoicing, accounts receivable and payable;
GST and QST remittances;
Communicate with suppliers and clients;
Manage expense accounts;
Assist in month-end closing;
Banking;
All other required accounting tasks.

Administration:
Coordinate agenda (time and priority-management) including setting up appointments and meetings;
Complete contracts;
Correspondence in French and English: composing letters, memos, emails, ….;
General office duties such as reception, mail, faxes, filing, photocopying, couriers;
Carry out other administrative duties as requested.

Requirements:

4+ years of experience in a similar position;
DEP or AEC in accounting preferred;
Fluently bilingual: English and French, spoken and written;
Very skilled in Simply Accounting and Excel;
Thorough knowledge of basic bookkeeping procedures;
Strong organizational skills – must be able to respect deadlines and manage time;
Proficiency in Word and Outlook;
Can work well independently.
